Pick the locks of an endless vault
Deep beneath the Saga lands lies a vault that never ends. Your delver – a hooded thief with a lantern and a ring of lockpicks – fights their way down depth after depth on their own. Your part is the choices: which rune to carry, when to unleash the Saga Strike, and which caches to crack open between delves.
How to play
- Delve: your delver attacks automatically. Watch their health and the enemy’s traits – some block, some burn, some regenerate.
- Saga Strike: tap the big button (or press Space) when it is charged for a crushing critical blow. Against bosses, strike while they wind up to interrupt their heavy attack.
- Runes: after every depth, choose 1 of 3 runes. They stack for the whole delve – the choices are the game.
- Lockpicks: enemies drop iron, silver and gilded lockpicks. You keep them even if you fall.
- Camp: open caches, wear the best gear, merge three identical items into a stronger one, and turn spare gear into scrap to forge new lockpicks.
Five realms, five bosses
Descend through the Hollow Crypts, the Frostbound Ruins, the Ashen Wastes, the Hunter’s Wilds and the Starfall Gate – each with its own foes and a boss guarding every fifth depth. Then the vault loops, deeper and deadlier.
A new season every month
Every delver faces the same vault during a season, so the monthly leaderboard is a true test of skill. How deep can you go?

Is Saga Depths free?
Yes. Saga Depths is free to play in your browser. Watching an ad is always optional and only doubles the lockpicks from a delve.
What happens when my delver falls?
You keep every lockpick you found. At camp you use them to open caches full of gear that makes the next delve stronger. You can also continue from your last checkpoint (every third depth) with the same runes.
What is a clean pick?
When you open a cache, a pick circles the lock. Stop it inside the glowing arc and the cache rolls its item twice and gives you the better one. The arc is narrower on silver and gilded caches.
How do seasons work?
Each calendar month is a season with one shared vault: every delver meets the same enemies and the same rune choices on each depth, so the leaderboard compares skill. Depths you have already cleared play faster.
Why can't I damage the boss when it glows red?
It can be damaged – but it is winding up a heavy blow. Use Saga Strike before the red bar fills to interrupt it and stun it for a moment.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Everything is tap-based and the game works in landscape on phones and tablets.
