Is Lanternshore free?
Yes. Lanternshore is completely free to play in your browser. A short ad may appear between matches now and then.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On phones and tablets you tap to select and to give orders. Use Box select in the top bar to select a group with your finger. A larger screen makes it easier.
How do I win a skirmish?
Destroy every building the rival house owns. If your own buildings all fall, the match is lost.
What are the ages?
Your camp grows through three ages: Landfall, Settlement and the Hold. Each age unlocks new buildings, upgrades and units, such as knights in the Settlement and catapults and Lanternbearers in the Hold.
Who are the guardians?
Old guardians sit beside the richest mines. They never leave their camp, but they hit hard. Clear a camp to claim the mine and a relic of gold, armour or sharper blades.
What are omens?
Every few minutes the coast is struck by an omen, with half a minute of warning: a winter storm, a blood moon, a harvest moon, storm tides, a red plague or the dragon waking. Omens can be switched off in skirmish.
What are the stars for?
Each mission gives up to three stars: one for winning and two for extra goals. Earn every star for the Every Star achievement.
What is the chronicle?
The chronicle collects the sagas of the coast. New sagas are written when you finish missions, clear guardians, slay the Old Wyrm or bring down the dragon. On SagaArcade they are also added to the Chronicle, together with the sagas of the other games set in the same world.
Is my progress saved?
Your stars, sagas and best renown are saved in your browser.
